Janelle posted this on her facebook recently.........and I thought I would put it here so that you can all get to know the woman behind thestateofpate.com a little better.
1) Sometimes, when I run too fast or jump too hard or sneeze without warning...I pee my pants (thanks kids).
2) I love that when Caden wants me to pick him up he says "I want to hold mommy"
3) My dream in life is to one day open an orphanage over seas
4) I am a PK (pastor's kid)
5) I am not a good housekeeper. I don't enjoy cleaning and I really wish I could change that!
6) I was on board a 4 passenger plane that had to do an emergency landing in a field in the middle of the PA mountains. My dad was the pilot.
7) I went to church camp every summer growing up and it was my favorite time of year. I love Big Prairie!
8) I love to sing at the top of my lungs and dance around the house...my kids enjoy watching me :)
9) I am counting the days until Lainy's bday so I can stop nursing her.
10) I am seriously considering going the cloth diaper route for the next baby...call me crazy!
11) John and I desperately want to adopt a child one day
12) I am a hard core "people pleaser" and it drives me crazy. I envy those of you who always say what is on your mind.
13) I am a bargain shopper. I refuse to pay full price for any clothing item...shoot, I refuse to pay 1/2 price.
14) I met John in college when I was dating his roommate.
15) I eat my steak medium rare
16) Every time I get a cold I lose my sense of taste...it's absolutely maddening!
17) I LOVE camping...in a tent.
18) Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I actually have a "First day of Fall celebration" complete with chili, homemade leaf shaped iced sugar cookies and roasted marshmallows by the fire pit.
19) I start listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween, however John forbids me to listen to it when he is around until after Thanksgiving.
20) I am an insanely deep sleeper (at least I was before I had kids). I was an avid sleep walker and talker. Also, I peed the bed almost every night until I was 16....ok, let the jokes begin.
21) On a normal day I don't take a shower until about 2:00...gotta wait until the kids are napping.
22) I was on a percussion drama team in college. We traveled to street festivals like Mardi Gras and would perform on the streets. LOVED IT!
23) I wish I could tap dance like Vera Ellen in "White Christmas".
24) I sent an audition tape in for Survivor.
25) I love being pregnant and am anxiously awaiting my next opportunity. However, I do get insanely large when "with child"...gained 50 lbs. each time.
