Red Letter Christians (review)

Red Letter Christians is a new movement that is carving its own space in the Christian landscape, feeling that the term “Evangelical” (a term largely subscribed to by most mainline Christians....and originally coined by Billy Graham in order to escape the stigma of the then popular term "Fundamentalist") has become synonymous with Right-Wing Politics to most people and no longer fairly represents a Biblical worldview.  As is often the case, labels/movements tend to get characterized by the loudest voice, which unfortunately is often the most fringe and divisive.

Campolo tackles a wide array of issues with an educated simplicity, articulating both sides fairly (in my opinion), while adding his own unique perspective.
Tony discusses topics such as Palestine, Immigration, Minimum Wage, Campaign Finance, and Wasteful Government using both his Biblical and sociological prowess.

Highly recommend this book, it is informative, well written, and a catalyst for personal reflection.
For more, here is a link to an interview he just did about the book:

The above touches on some hot button issues, comments are encouraged and welcomed.
