The Road is about a father and son’s journey and fight to live in a post-apocalyptic world. I am left with mixed emotions after reading it. Admittedly, I found myself compelled to keep reading while at the same time never peaking with interest. It’s as if I kept thinking the next big thing was going to happen on the next page….but it never did. Parts of it made no sense at all.3 out of 5

I read this book as well. I too was compelled to keep reading even with the fear of a parent inside me - I didn't want anything to happen to the boy. I felt let down because I was expecting so much more.
